Hello Shauna!

I've been meaning to ask you...did you go to the GIG GF Food Fair in March? Just wondering how it was. Our big food fair is the end of April in Long Island. The Suffolk County support group that is putting it on is affiliated with GIG too.

I just wanted to say how much I love your daily food photos, I am really so inspired by your site, your food, and your relationship with the chef.

I lived out in teh Four Corners area for a while - and they would get the nuts right off the tree, rinse them, then put a little salt water on - and bake them. We'd eat them right out of the shells and get dark stained fingers for days. Best rendition of butter and bacon in a shell ever....

hey shauna, remember me? i helped you out with a computer issue and broke lots of rules by talking blogs with you!

i found you again, linked from babycakes and soulbliss. the blogosphere is small.

i'm trying to get knocked up soon, and am really hoping to employ lots of gluten free goodness in my diet. gracias for recipes, and congrats on getting to marry a chef! well done!

Lucy,

Yes, indeed.

Michelle,

I did go to the Fair! In fact, I had a table there, with my laptop and shiny new business cards. It was wonderful to meet some readers, and it's always good to be in a room full of people who cannot eat gluten. We all feel united! (Email me if you would like some more constructive comments!)

Gemma,

Thank you so much. We are inspired by these comments and the people who read.

Loner,

That sounds fantastic! I would adore eating them that way. Maybe someday...

Bananie,

Of course I remember you! What a wonderful small world. Good luck with the "getting knocked up" endeavor. (That's what we call it too, actually.) Hey, maybe we'll both have babies at the same time...
